“Trapped behind this window and its trim — an ugly brown / Gazing at the scenery below me / All my life I watch it as I sit up here alone / Living off the pencils that I’m holding…

“Out there / buying Prisma pens / Give me just one Sharpee / or a white-out pen…”

(Sad Cup is sad because it was DEMOTED to a pencil holder. Long ago people loved it because it held delicious morning caffeine as they greeted the day. Then it was found to be full of poisonous lead…) “Hey! Lead glaze isn’t a judgment, people, lead glaze is a disability! A disease! It’s OK to drink from me if you use a liner!”
